MRI scans cannot be performed on people with a cardiac pacemaker, brain aneurysm clips, or metallic inner ear prosthetics.
- No special preparation is required.
- If Xanax sedation is required, please arrive 45 minutes early.
- If IV sedation is required for pain or claustrophobia, patient needs to arrange for this at time of scheduling and must arrive 30 minutes early.
- Music is available. You may bring your own cassette or CD if you prefer.
